ABOUT MARIJA KOPRTLA
Fashion, magazines, short art films, TV, production and cosmetic houses, fashion and photo web portals are the places where Marija works as a make-up artist.
After finishing the course in make up at the School for fashion and costume design Profokus Zagreb in 2000, she connects her work by thoughts, words and act in the versatile make up form.
Marija writes, takes photos, educates – the timeless theme: colours on faces!
Her make-up knowledge is noticeable in writing and photography as well as in short films and creative art projects. She is the author of the book on beauty make-up “Lice u ogledalu" ("The face in the mirror") and she presents her works on photo exhibitions together with photographers.

I was born in 1970 in Zagreb, Croatia. It is the place where I grew up happily and where I had my days of school and education… and where I still live and enjoy life

Here is the resumé of my achievements in the field of make up art:

Writing an educational book on make up LICE U OGLEDALU (FACE IN THE MIRROR), 2008, promoted in Stančić Gallery, Zagreb with the exhibition of 20 photographs from the book. This exhibition also marked the start of the 3rd Modni ormar.
